Marilyn Ray, Sis Debra Pena's sister

First of all we want to give thanks to our Lord and Savior for every blessing He's given to us in these past few weeks. Truly, He is still in the miracle-working business.

Today my sister, Marilyn, called to tell me her cancer doctor in Memphis turned her loose! He said the full-body CT scan came back negative. CANCER-FREE!!! Therefore, no more chemo or treatments and he'd see her back in three months for a checkup!

God is sooooo great! She called this evening asking me to come help her take down wallpaper in her house! It's been so long since I've seen her take an interest in anything because of her lack of energy and pain.

Thank you all for every prayer that you sent up on her behalf, every card and especially every phone call or hug. This has been a hard past few months having said good-bye to our mother and then Marilyn being diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian the same week. But God has been merciful and as usual....He's an on-time God!

We love and thank you Jesus! We are so humbled by your miraculous healing powers! Also, where would we be without our wonderful church family....YOU!
I know Mama is smiling.....but it's not time for her yet, though, Mama. Heaven will have to wait for this angel just a little longer. :)
