Your Harvest is already there!

Joshua 1:10-11
10. Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
11. Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
What is so awesome is the spirit of "Certainty" that is threaded throughout this passage. No way would anyone begin to prepare victuals if they didn't truly believe that they, in fact, were about to cross the Jordan. Victuals is another word for "meat" or "food". This is an important thing to understand, because God was telling them, "You need to take what you have that sustains your strength because you are moving from the place you're at." The true value of this statement is found in the fact that God was telling them to bring all their food with them, but why is this so important? If they had any intentions on going back to this camp, then God would have let them leave some of their food, because if they were coming back they could eat when they got back.
But God knew that His plan didn't include going back to the camp of debt, the camp of depravity, and the camp of disease. He was telling them, "Take it all, you won't be coming back here again!" I tell you today that God is ready to move you from the camp you're at right now and move you into the Promise Land. He is ready to move you to the place where your harvest is. Are you ready?
The major thing that I want you to see today is that your harvest is already there! They had not even crossed the Jordan, yet. They hadn't seen the miracle land, yet. God was telling them to pack up and get ready to move. What is so awesome is that, though they didn't see the Promise Land, God was acting like it was already theirs. He was telling them, "In three days you will have the land." But what I like about it is that the Bible says, "The land that the Lord giveth you to possess." God was speaking in the terms of "It's already planted, it's already yours," even though they hadn't even crossed the Jordan.
I want you to know that you may not have crossed the Jordan of your life, but that doesn't mean that right now there isn't a promise with your name on it. It's yours, you don't have to worry about the enemy taking it, it belongs to you. So rise up in faith and start today believing that sooner or later, "I will walk through my Jordan, and the promise will be there." No matter what you see today, that does not change the fact that your harvest is already planted.
