Youth Happenings #12

Greetings to you all in JESUS NAME! Sometimes we feel like we just get over one event and another one is approaching. We like to keep our youth busy doing things around the church so here we go again.

This coming February 13th, on a Friday night, we will be having our first-ever annual teen Valentine banquet. Below is a few things you will need to know in order for your teen to attend.

What: "A Night Under The Stars" Valentine Banquet
When: February 13th, 2009 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Where: New Life Apostolic Church fellowship hall
Dress: Formal
Charge: Free
Attendance: Please invite your teen friends
Ages: 13 to 20

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. We need an exact head count by February 6th so if your youth is bringing a teen with them, please see me to get an invitation for them. We want this to be special.

We have five moms who will be present that evening to help with the teens. Therefore, "please" just drop your youth off at the back door by 7:00 and someone will escort them inside. Then park in the back and we will send your youth out by 10:00...if you have arrived. This will keep the flow of activity in and out the back door to a minimum so that we can start and stop on time without distractions.

Remember to spend some time in God's Word and in prayer while the church is spending a season in fasting for 21 days. We need to keep them lifted up in prayer. Also, within the next few days we will begin practicing for our Easter program. We will be announcing it soon. Thank you and God bless you all.
